Artist's statement
Over the years, I am particularly fond
of folk-arts and ethnic cultures for a very simple reason: they
reflect the essence of "Life". In this exhibition, I have
chosen porcelain for its translucence and clear tone when being
struck on, to make bowls for my replica of the Zenghou Yi Bronze
Bells, which also gives this symbol of nobility a commoner touch.
