Artist's statement
“Door” is closely related to our daily
experience. It records memories of our life. Everyday it says
farewell to our busy steps and welcomes our safe returns. It
encloses warmth and love among family members; but shuts out
disturbances and maintains peace in our mind. "Door"
delineates you and me: perhaps you embrace the gaiety and freedom
in the outside world, yet I enjoy the leisurely and carefree
paradise on the other side of the door.
